Constance M. Quednau,

Constance (Connie) Quednau earned her undergraduate degree from Governors State University, IL, earning a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) with concentration in Addictions Treatment and Psychology.    Her Graduate degree as a Master of Social Work (MSW) was awarded from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee with a concentration in Marriage and Family therapy.

 

Connie has been employed professionally since 1991 as a Psychotherapist working with various agencies including Lake County Health Department, IL, Kenoshans Against Sexual Assault (KASA), WI, Lake County Council Against Sexual Assault, (LACASA), IL, Family Service Agency of North Lake County (IL) and Rappahannock Area Community Services Board (RACSB), VA, where she did individual, group and family therapy as well as supervision.

 

Connie has been approved for independent practice in 1996 by the National Association of Social Workers (ACSW) and certified in Indiana as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 1997.  Since then she has provided psychotherapy in both a group and her independent private practice, where she also worked at Indiana University as a Social Work Field Supervisor, and presented seminars on stress management and healthy coping.  She has taught Group Therapy Skills at College of Lake County, Grayslake, IL.  Connie was part of the treatment team working with Drug Court in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Currently, she is in private practice at Raj Clinics.

 

She is also the mother of 2 and grandmother of 5.
